In the 1970s, Psychologist Dr. Don Clifton began research around the question: “What will happen when we think about what is right with people rather than fixating on what is wrong with them?” This research led to what is now known as CliftonStrengths, a global movement aimed at helping people identify their talents and turn them
into strengths. Maggie’s talk will focus on the difference between talents and strengths, how to invest in talents to turn them into strengths, and the benefits to individuals and organizations who take a strengths-based approach to development and leadership. Lastly, she will talk about how to identify your talents.

Maggie Harris has more than 18 years experience developing individuals and teams. As a former partner at an advertising agency, she is familiar with fast-paced, demanding organizations that thrive when individuals and teams are performing at their peak. In 2002, Maggie discovered CliftonStrengths. She joined Hitchcock, Fleming & Associates, a prestigious Northeast Ohio advertising agency, as a partner in 2004. Maggie implemented Gallup’s CliftonStrengths within her organization resulting in it being named one of the “Top 50 Ad Agencies” in which to work in the U.S. by Ad Age Magazine, the leading agency trade publication.

Since 2016, she has been a Gallup-certified Strengths Consultant in Las Vegas. She works with clients to reveal their true talents and teaches them how to invest in those talents to become strengths. Maggie’s area of expertise includes Executive Coaching, Team Dynamics, Leadership Training and Conflict Resolution.
