Welcome back to school! We have a lot of exciting Fall events from our new Reel Reads event where we’ll compare popular books with their TV/movie adaptations, the Gifted Youth Homeroom at the RG, and our new SFRM GY SIGs.
SFRM’s Regional Gathering is in San Rafael this year, with activities, workshops, and games. For the first time, we’re including special events for gifted youth…with prizes!
Parenting a gifted child is a unique journey filled with both extraordinary joys and distinct challenges. While you may have already considered Mensa membership for your talented youngster, have you thought about joining yourself?
It’s officially SUMMER BREAK and I hope it’s jam-packed with fun activities. 🙂  If it’s not or if you need more things to do, here are some suggestions:
A huge thank you to everyone who attended the May 19th Intro to Mensa’s Region 8 Gifted Youth Program event on Zoom. Out of 29 who registered, 18 attended. There was a lot of interest in having a quarterly get-together and I’ll touch base with you again on the next date.
