Ever wondered if you might qualify for Mensa? Here’s a great opportunity to find out and experience what Mensa is all about.
San Francisco Regional Mensa is hosting a Mensa Admission Test on Saturday, November 21, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM during Brilliance by the Bay, our 2026 Regional Gathering at the Hilton San Francisco Airport Bayfront in Burlingame. And there’s an extra reason to sign up now: October is Half-Price Admission Testing Month! The test normally costs $60, but if you purchase your test during October, it’s just $30.
What is Mensa?
Mensa is an international organization for people who score in the top 2% of the general population on an accepted standardized intelligence test. But Mensa is about much more than taking a test. It’s a community built around connection, conversation, shared interests, and intellectual curiosity.
And that’s where the “stay for the party” part comes in.
A Regional Gathering, or RG, is a weekend-long Mensa event filled with speakers, workshops, games, activities, hospitality, and opportunities to meet interesting people. Brilliance by the Bay takes place November 20-22 and features programming spanning science and technology, arts and creativity, history and humanities, personal growth, games, and much more. Test-takers are welcome to join us for Saturday RG sessions and hospitality. Please note that lunch is not included. So come take the test, then stick around and see what the Mensa community is all about!
