About Dr. Lisa Pruitt

Lisa Pruitt is a Distinguished Professor of Bioengineering & Mechanical Engineering at UC Berkeley. She has authored more than 300 publications in failure analysis, biomaterials and medical devices. She has received numerous awards in research, teaching and mentoring, including the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science, Mathematics and Engineering Mentoring.
