On August 16, San Francisco Regional Mensa Gifted Youth families enjoyed an outing at the Computer History Museum in Silicon Valley. The group was led on an exclusive docent-led tour, which provided engaging explanations and interesting factoids about the evolution of technology.
We’re excited to share that Mensa families now have a couple of WhatsApp groups where parents can connect and coordinate playdates. These groups aren’t part of the official Gifted Youth program, but they’re a fun and informal way for parents of GYs and Mensa members with children to stay in touch.

Lisa Sticca-Conrod has worn many hats throughout her life: professor, lawyer, entrepreneur, curriculum designer, nonprofit leader, coach, and tutor. Her background spans education, law, publishing, advocacy, and psychology. She also returned to school later in life to study educational psychology and neurodiversity so she could better understand her twice-exceptional daughter.
