Ask a Genealogist

Just starting your family history research? Wondering what your next step should be? Staring at a brick wall? Janice, the friendly Oregon Mensa and Intelligencer genealogist, will take on your questions and do her best to give you intelligent answers. She has been working on her family history for 50+ years and has been a professional 20 years. She specializes in Jewish, Black, and forensic genealogy and has experience with many others. And if all else fails, she’ll try to keep you entertained!

Her grandparents told Janice she is related to actor Peter Sellers and John of Gaunt, son of a king and father of a king. They were wrong, but that’s why she has researched her family for 50+ years and now helps others find the right pieces to their genealogy puzzles. She can talk all day about genealogy. Her site is http://www.AncestralDiscoveries.com.
