San Francisco Regional Mensa (SFRM) will hold its Regional Gathering at
the Hilton Pleasanton at The Club.
This is the weekend before Thanksgiving,
November 16-18, 2012.
The hotel is at the intersection of Interstate highways 680 and 580,
with easy access from the entire San Francisco Bay Area of California.

Sunday Brunch Keynote -- Dr. Tanya Luhrmann, Stanford University
Learning to Hear God Speak, Sometimes Audibly.
Evangelicals claim that God speaks to them. Dr. Luhrmann will
talk about how for some people this is an expression of their
reality, rather than simply a metaphor for piety.

Local Events
We are hosting
a uniquely Mensa wine event on
Saturday afternoon.
A free guided tour
of the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory Discovery Center is
scheduled for Saturday at 10am.
Participants will meet at 9:30 to form carpools.
The tour will last 45 minutes to an
hour, and there is a free gift provided.
